Religious Studies is excited to announce a new course taught this fall 2021: RELS 2600H, Ecowomanism with Visiting Professor Melanie Harris. Dr. Harris is Professor of African American Studies and Director of Food, Health, and Ecological Well Being at Wake Forest University, School of Divinity. The course will explore environmental ethics from the perspectives of theo-ethical analysis and life experiences of women of color, specifically women of African descent. The course will be held on Tues/Thurs 1-2:20pm, online, and is open to all graduate students and qualified undergraduates.
